Motorcycle theft is big business; do not let your bike become a statistic. Motorcycles are easy targets for thieves. Here are our motorcycle security tips:
1. Use some form of audible alarm if possible a Thatcham approved fitted alarm such as the Meta motorcycle alarm immobiliser system or the Xena Disc lock alarms.
2. Use some form of mechanical security , a Thatcham or Sold Secure motorcycle security chain is best; get it wrapped round something solid and immovable such as a lamp post or ground anchor.
3. Keep your bike somewhere well lit under a bike cover out of sight out of mind is the best policy get it in a secure garage if possible.
It is not enough to just use a steering lock on your motorcycle if you want to keep your nice new Harley Davidson or your Honda Silver Wing Scooter follow the tips above.
